What Documents Do You Need to Import a Vehicle from China?

Every order we ship carries the same baseline export documentation: a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading (or RoRo booking confirmation for RoRo shipments), and certificate of origin.

On top of that baseline, some destination markets require additional compliance paperwork — age-limit certification is the most common example, confirming a used vehicle's manufacture date against the local ceiling. Markets with fuel-type or emissions-linked restrictions may also require additional classification documentation for hybrid or plug-in hybrid models.

We identify and prepare whatever destination-specific paperwork applies as part of the order process — you do not need to research this yourself. Check your destination's general requirements on the relevant destination page, or message us directly with your vehicle and destination and we will confirm the exact document list before you commit to an order.
